Benefits of Membership

What does it mean to be a member of the Indiana University Macromedia Users Group? The monthly meetings play an important role. They give us new ideas and inspire us to expand the range of tools and techniques we use. The IU Macromedia User Group has its news list (IUMMUGNEWS-L) for announcements, mainly about upcoming group events. We also have our website with useful links and information.

The meetings, the news list and the website are all available to the general public, but membership has its privileges. Discussion List

When you have a question about your Flash timeline or the behaviors panel in Dreamweaver and you need it answered immediately, wouldn’t it be nice to send it out to a group of people you know will be willing to help out? There are forums out there for all of the technology Macromedia produces, but when you know the people on the list, when they are your colleagues and peers, it is much easier to move out of the list shadows and take part. IUMMUG is launching a new list for day-to-day discussion and problem solving. Throw your questions out to your fellow IUMMUG members and someone will either give you the answer you need or steer you to a resource that will.

What if you are the kind of person that prefers to look it up in a good reference book?
